sunscreen, sunburns & other summer things

So, as you can tell by my lack of updates in the past oh... I'd say.... two weeks I have been super busy. I feel like I have hardly had a chance to sit down and relax let a lone update this blog. I was looking at me works time clock records and this last pay period which ended on the 20th of June I had 55.something odd hours which is more then my normal 35-40 in two weeks. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I finally got some time off and was able to just chill. On Saturday I went with my family up to our cabin and was there til late Sunday night. We had a blast I love going to the cabin it always is worth it. Monday I went swimming with one of my friends which was nice, not only from a catching up talking type but also I have been dieing to spend time in a pool I find them so relaxing! I made sure to put on sunscreen and yet I still managed to get myself sunburned!!!! It wasn't bad but it really hurt the next day now it is just slightly pain full. other than that my life has been noting more the trax and working my but off, but I have had some time to read some really good books and I am in the middle of writing a cute short story (no pun intended ;] ) lol well I am going to relax more before it is time to turn in and then wake up and go to work again

Rushing past with out stopping

So I know it has been a week from when I last updated, I have been so busy with life! So Saturday night I went with some friends to play capture the flag with real flags it was the most fun I have had in along time! I was super glad that I went my friends were great and I got to know some people better that night I realized that I had be come very close to someone in a mere matter of weeks. Sunday I went to my cousins ward where they were blessing their baby and she was so cute, But the best part of Sunday came when I went to hang out with a friend and we pretty much spent the whole laughing our guts out which was fun. Monday I spent the whole day cleaning to get my bed room ready for my nieces who flew in Tuesday so that was a fun day Wednesday I worked the whole day from open to close and it was hectic and full of anger then Thursday I got asked to come in and work all day as well which was a nightmare we had 1,248 people (not counting kids under 1) come in to the museum and it sure felt like more, now today i am just trying to relax before going to work again in the morning

Tired of all the lemons ready for Lemonade

So I have determened that the saying "when life hands you lemons make lemonade" Needs to be amended becuase with out water and sugar your lemonade isn't going to taste very good at all. I have a saying of my own that is "I wish life would stop handing me Lemons and give me some sugar and water so I can make lemonade" well this is the story of my life right now it really seems like I keep getting Lemons and never any sugar (sweet things) or water (clam times) I feel as if I am lost in a mountian of hard times that I know will turn out fot the better in the end but right now it is really just the worst thing ever! So not only am I apparently to much for guys (in attitude, personality, and all that) but I can't even manage to keep my spirts about it up.... As it says i need some sugar and water so I can make some lemonade, so this is what is going on right now, I just found out that the guy I like has no feelings towards me at all which really hurts and what adds to it is that he is my co-worker who at times is in a supervisory capasity over me and so finding out that he dosen't like makes things at work awkward in a way I mean both of us are very much professional about it but at the sameboth of us are playing the avoidance game he and I seem to both be good at that game we have done it alot. so yeah I am really ready for some lemonade I am sick of just lemons................. Swing, Rings, and Pretty things

So I went out on the town with my friends tonight and man what a blast it was! We went to this really cool swing dance club down in a town close to where I call home. I love swing dancing something about getting tossed and twirled in any which direction, and only knowing slightly where your next hand movement (or foot) is going to be is just something I find super enticing. I danced quite a few of the songs and enjoyed ever second of it, even when I wasn't dancing (although me feet didn't enjoy it as much; at least judging by the small blisters) The best part of the night was how gentlemanly all of the guys there were it totally made it worth it! Okay so now going back in time to about oh 9 'o clock this morning I was at work, you know the normal work stuff and while checking out the schedule when I saw not only did I get to do a school group (which is alot of fun, and makes time fly) but I also got to be on Info desk which pretty much answering the phone, greeting guest answering questions yadda yadda ya.... (a great break from being on the floor) so the school group I got was a total nightmare, they didn't listen they were all over the place and were just very disrespectful and uncorroupertive, but hey no big deal it's a part of life. Being on info was alot of fun and I had to answer a whole bunch of calls but I managed very well. But the funniest part of my work day was the interesting looks I was getting from my handsome co-worker that I happen to like, it is hard to explain the look but in the long run good or bad it boils down to the fact that he was looking at me =) lol well til next time

shiny things and kleptomania

Okay sorry for not updating I have been kind of busy but I have some really great stories for my blog it will totally entertain you. Okay so Monday night me and my friends were hanging out. I tend to have this habit of collecting my friends things such as cell phone, watches and things like that. Well my one friend is very good at not letting things get taken from him so Monday when he dropped his phone out of his pocket in the chair he forgot that it had fallen out of his pocket so I slipped it in to my pocket so I had his phone for about an hour then I returned it, Later that night I asked to see his watch which he willing let me see. I showed him a cool trick in which I can slide the watch still done up over my whole wrist with out undoing it. and I just never gave it back and I still have it today. Yesterday (Tuesday) I went to work and got put on the info desk for the first time and it was an unnerving experience but at the same time it was the most amazing experience and apparently I did so well they put me back on it today so now it is off to another amazing adventure I'll update you tonight when I get home after my lovely night out!
